Anyway, now it turns out that there is no reason to panic. At least not here, and we can thank the European Union for that.

The new conditions start to apply already on Saturday, May 15, and users are still living in complete uncertainty. Within the European Union, the new conditions do not change the way in which user data is handled. This is because EU regulations, including the widely criticized GDPR, prohibit this. Thanks to them, it is not possible to share user data with other services and applications within EU countries, which also applies to this situation.

For them, the worst that was originally predicted is true. Facebook has been caught many times in the past, that user privacy is just some sales item. It is only a matter of time before it becomes clear at this company that the data from WA somehow went to FB as well.
