At first glance, Hollow Knight bets, among other things, on its innovative visual style. In the role of an insect knight, you will go to a mysterious underground kingdom from which no one has ever returned. At the beginning, you will only have a found nail at hand, which will replace the role of a sword. The kingdom is vast and from the first minute you are guaranteed complete access to its secrets. That is, except for the areas you can access once you gain the abilities needed to reach them. At its core, Hollow Knight is mainly a representative of the classic metroidvania genre.
A huge number of different types of enemies await you in the beautifully designed and beautifully soundtracked pitfalls of the underground realm, which will test how well you master the game's great combat system. But the real test of your abilities will be three dozen demanding bosses. At the same time, you certainly won't complain about the lack of content. It will take you around thirty hours to finish Hollow Knight, and that's just counting the base game without a few extras that you get for free.
