Apple Watch is far from just some kind of "extension" of our iPhones. Since the arrival of the watchOS 6 operating system, Apple's smartwatches have, among other things, also got their own App Store, to which new and interesting applications are constantly being added. In our new series, we will regularly bring you an overview of the most interesting applications for the Apple Watch. In today's episode, we will focus on weather forecasting applications.

NOAA Radar Pro: Weather Alerts

The NOAA Radar Pro app will look great on both your iPhone and your Apple smartwatch. Even in its "minimized" version, intended for the Apple Watch display, it can offer a sufficient amount of accurate and useful information about the current weather, as well as about future prospects. NOAA Radar will provide you with data on real and felt temperature, weather conditions and other important parameters.

WeatherBug - Weather Forecast

The WeatherBug application is a simple and reliable way to find out information about current and future weather developments. WeatherBug will work great on both your iPhone and your Apple Watch. In addition to notifications and clear information, the WeatherBug application also offers the option of placing a complication on selected faces of your watch. Warning: not all functions of the application may be available in the Czech Republic.

Forecast Bar - Weather and Radar

The Forecast Bar application offers an accurate and clear weather forecast for both your iPhone and your Apple Watch. Of course, there are notifications, a detailed forecast for the day and night, clear information about temperature, snow, rain, wind and other conditions, as well as an overview of the basic forecast for the next 12 hours.

CARROT Weather

The CARROT Weather application is very popular among users not only because of the accuracy of its forecasts, but also because of its originality and humor. If the current weather has spoiled your mood, the CARROT Weather app is guaranteed to lift it up again. But the application also boasts a clear and good-looking user interface and useful functions.

WeatherPro

I tried the WeatherPro application on the recommendation of one of our readers. It looks and works great on iPhone and Apple Watch, offers an accurate, reliable weather forecast, which is updated at regular intervals thanks to information from radars. WeatherPro will provide you with accurate data not only on temperature, but also on humidity, precipitation, UV index, air pressure and many other parameters.

Bonus: Night Sky

Although the Night Sky application is not primarily used for weather forecasting, if you like to observe (not only) the night sky, it should definitely not be missing from any of your Apple devices. The creators of the app refer to Night Sky as your personal planetarium, and they are certainly not far from the truth. Night Sky brings interesting information about what's happening above your head to the display of your Apple Watch - and it's up to you who you decide to impress with this information.
