In the server notebooks test Soluto the MacBook Pro won as the best Windows machine:
the main factor in this device's metric is the fact that every Windows installation is clean. Considering that PC manufacturers load so much crapware into their laptops, that's a bit of an unfair comparison. But on the other hand, PC manufacturers should look at the data and want to start selling PCs that will perform as well as a clean install MacBook Pro.
The fact that the pre-installed crapware made it to 2013 is just shameful.
However, after installation, bootcamp support for reading the disk, etc., etc. is loaded there, so it's not 100% clean either
but functional….. ;)
I think the HFS+ driver from apple is the last thing Widle can fertilize
How to fertilize something that is already manure?
Maybe a little offtopic, but I have a question. I really want to buy a mac and I want to ask how it is with games that are not native for Windows. Can it be played using forks installed on a mac? or do I have to wait for the manufacturer to release the game on mac?
you install Windows via Boot Camp and you can always choose whether you want to boot into OS X or Windows at startup
Thanks for the super fast answer:) sub-question: does the game run smoothly (according to hw mac) or does boot camp work like some kind of emulator and can the fps be reduced?
Windows runs like a normal PC, just with the apple logo
Once again, thanks
otherwise, I don't know what you want to play on it, but be aware that most "budget" macs have integrated graphics.
I'm thinking about a Macbook Pro Retina 15″ and an Imac 27″, but I can't decide if I'll be working elsewhere than at work/at home. Otherwise, I'm not an avid gamer, I just wanted to see the possibilities :)
I personally would send the file to the retina
No matter how I look, I'll probably choose an Imac. I probably won't use the laptop (I have an Ipad to carry around) and the Imac has a larger diagonal and I can choose a better GK than my macbook. Why do you prefer macbook?
personally, I would also deal with a macbook pro (that is, regardless of the fact that I have one) .. it mainly depends on what you need to do with it, but having a portable mac ... priceless ;)
The iPad will not replace the laptop in everything. You just can't do some quite common things in it. But you also can't do some things from the iPad on the Macbook. They are simply different devices. So why a Macbook instead of an iMac? Because you can take it to the next table, to the next room, to the garden, anywhere on the road, open it at a work meeting... Or simply close it and hide it in a drawer. Those are the reasons. If you will never need this, then you can consider what is better for you - a Macbook (and possibly a large external monitor, if you insist on one) or an iMac.
Otherwise, be careful. From OS X 10.8.3 you only get Win 7 and higher for Mac. WinXP is no longer supported…
I own a MacMini, a MacPro via MultiBeast (OSX installed on the HDD in a PC where I have the latest NVIDIA graphics), and I have a lot of games ported directly to MacOSX. E.g. "StarCraft2, Diablo3, Borderlands2" and more. I'm trying to play primo MAC games on my MAC. And with OSX installed on my PC, I can understand NVIDIA graphics quite well via MultiBeast. Then I have no reason to use BootCamp.
If the games aren't native to Windows, then it's pointless trying to play them on a Mac using Widli. That's a bit of a nonsensical question.
Hmm, I see that the retina version was not so good
