Serials

Ted Lasso

American football coach Ted Lasso is hired by a wealthy divorcee to coach an English football team. Jason Sudeikis excels in the lead role of Ted, who earned an Emmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for this role. Nevertheless, the series collects numerous awards across various awards and is considered the best effort of the Apple platform. And since they've been available for two full seasons, they'll last you a while before you watch them.

See

If you like "Aquaman" from DC Comics, Khala Drogo from Game of Thrones, Ronon Dex from Stargate: Atlantis or Jason Ioan from Coast Guard, then See starring none other than Jason Momoa is a clear choice for you . Here he plays the blind father of twins born with the miraculous ability to see. The main juice for him here will be his own brother played by Dave Bautista. It's a slightly darker theme for Christmas, but its processing is truly breathtaking.

Servant

If you like a bit of mystery, M. Night Shyamalan's The Servant is sure to give you plenty. Here, this legendary director of The Sixth Sense and The Chosen tackled the topic of parenthood, which is definitely not what we can imagine. The star is not only the director, but also the cast, where not only Rupert Grint but also, for example, Toby Kebbell will present themselves. The series already has two seasons and a third is expected.

Movies and documentaries

Swan song

One day in the not-too-distant future, Cameron Turner receives a devastating diagnosis. After being offered an experimental solution to protect his wife and son from a painful loss, he struggles with the weight of deciding the fate of the entire family. It is a stirring story of love, loss and self-sacrifice. So expect a clear attack on your emotions. Starring Mahershala Ali, Naomi Harris has Glenn Close.

Finch

Tom Hanks plays Finch here, a man who sets out on a journey to find a new home for his very unusual family in a dangerous and desolate world. It consists of the dog Goodyear and the robot that is supposed to take care of the dog after Finch's death. Even though the subject is clearly sci-fi, the film is handled relatively modestly, and above all, very moving. It's endearing but also funny, even in such a hopeless situation that the central trio of heroes find themselves in.

It was a Christmas row

In this real-life Christmas story, lawyer Jeremy Morris (aka Mister Christmas) gives the spirit of Christmas a whole new meaning. His extravagant Christmas event ignites a dispute with his neighbors, which will bring everyone to court. They don't like his decoration very much and according to them he violates the rules of the neighborhood. So if you want to watch a smiling Christmas picture, this is an ideal choice.
