We are only two days away from the presentation of the new iPhones, and although we already know this year's model range, there is still a question mark over their prices. German magazine Macerkpof but he has come up with a report revealing the starting prices of all three upcoming models. The amounts are given in euros, so we can get a fairly accurate idea of how much new Apple phones will cost in the Czech Republic.

The most interesting thing is that the iPhone Xs will be significantly cheaper compared to its predecessor (i.e. the iPhone X). The phone should start at 909 euros, converted to 23 crowns. The price reduction of CZK 990 is quite noticeable and will certainly have an effect on the price drop of the low-end iPhone X. On the other hand, such a large price difference seems unlikely, especially if we take into account the excellent sales of the current iPhone X.

The larger iPhone Xs Plus (there is also speculation about the designation iPhone Xs Max) will then replace the current iPhone X in terms of pricing and will therefore start at €1. In the Czech Republic, the 149-inch flagship should cost 6,5 crowns. However, it is assumed that this year Apple will offer up to a 29GB variant, so the price of the phone could rise to 990 crowns.

Finally, there remains the 6,1-inch LCD model, which has often been referred to as the successor to the iPhone SE. However, its price is likely to be a disappointment to a significant portion of potential buyers. According to the magazine's sources, the iPhone 9 (or iPhone XC) should cost 799 euros, i.e. the same as the current iPhone 8. On the domestic market, the phone will cost 20 CZK.

Apple allegedly decided on the higher price of the three cheapest iPhones precisely because of the good sales of the iPhone X. They exceeded the expectations of the company and analysts, and Apple only confirmed that the high price of a smartphone is not an obstacle.
