Unfortunately, this enthusiasm has faded over time, and since the Apple Watch Series 5 and 6, no major revolution has taken place. On the contrary, every other model is perceived as a natural evolution. It is therefore not surprising that an interesting discussion has opened up among apple lovers about whether Apple will ever again be able to take our breath away with a new watch, so to speak. For now, it looks like something like that is not waiting for us. Even the professional Apple Watch Ultra, which offers significantly more options compared to regular models, did not bring a fundamental breakthrough. For them, however, it was justified by a significantly higher price.
Another edition of the Apple Watch
That is why a rather interesting question is offered. When we look at the rest of Apple's range, i.e. at iPhones, iPads, Macs or AirPods, in all cases we find several models that are divided into different editions. After all, that is why the mentioned products are not only available in basic versions, but if necessary, we can also reach for Pro, Air and other models. And that may be the answer to the return of the well-known boom effect, which has more or less disappeared from the world of Apple watches. Apple can simply take inspiration from its own products and move the Apple Watch a few steps forward following their example.
Apple Watch Ultra (2022)
The Apple Watch is already available in different editions. Of course, the traditional Series 8 is offered, alongside which we can also find the cheaper Apple Watch SE, or the professional Apple Watch Ultra, which, on the other hand, is aimed at adrenaline enthusiasts and the most demanding users. But some Apple users wonder if this is not enough and if it would not be better for Apple to come up with additional editions for an even better division of functions and coverage of a larger segment of potential customers. In such a case, there are a wide range of possibilities and it would be up to Apple and its discretion which direction it would take. Of course, this decision would have to be based on some research, and therefore it is difficult to estimate in advance what would fit best in the apple offer.
But in general, we can say that we already have a cheap and basic model, as well as the professional one. Therefore, some users would like to see an extension filling the gap between Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra. But as we mentioned above, in this regard the question is what such a model should actually look like. Should it retain the functions of the basic "Watchek" and come in a more durable body, or on the contrary, expand its functionality without possibly changing the design?
