What are we going to talk about, after all, spoken English is easier to understand than singing. I bet most of you are trying to find lyrics on YouTube. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, we're just bringing you an alternative. His name is musiXmatch lyrics.
The application is designed in a minimalistic design corresponding to OS X Mountain Lion. Below the window header, you may notice an orange bar showing the progress of the currently playing song. On the left you will find a narrow vertical bar with several buttons. Let's go through them in order.
Below the music note icon, you will see lyrics from songs played in iTunes. If you use Pandora, Spotify or Rdio, you're in luck because those are also supported. You can simply save the displayed lyrics directly to the audio file being played, share them on social networks Twitter and Facebook or add them to your favorites. If the text is not in the database and you dare to find it, you can add it.
Under the magnifying glass button, you can, as usual, search for lyrics by author or song title. The sharing options are exactly the same, plus you'll be shown the option to download the song in the iTunes Music Store. The heart button will display your favorite lyrics. The mobile icon will direct you to download the mobile version for iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
The gear wheel takes you to the settings menu, which doesn't offer much. You can turn on the display of the icon in the status bar, notifications, launch when the computer starts; log in to your Facebook account and font text. If you turn on the track change notification, I recommend unchecking musiXmatch in the Notification Center settings - so that the name of the last played song does not remain in it.
