When Apple released its iOS 13 operating system last September, many users were excited about its new features. However, it gradually began to show that iOS 13 suffers from a number of more or less serious errors, which the company gradually corrected in numerous updates. Among other things, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk also complained about errors in the iOS 13 operating system.

During an interview at the recent Satellite 2020 conference, Musk talked about his experience updating Apple's mobile operating system and the role software plays in his companies' projects. The editor of Business Insider magazine asked Musk about his own statement about the alleged gradual decline of technology and whether this phenomenon could have any impact on Musk's mission to Mars - since much of the technology relies on both hardware and software. In response, Musk said that his comment meant to point out the fact that technology does not automatically improve.

“People are used to their phones getting better and better every year. I'm an iPhone user, but I think some of the recent software updates haven't been the best." Musk said, adding that the faulty iOS 13 update in his case had a negative effect on his email system, which is very important to Musk's work. Musk did not share more details about his negative experience with the iOS 13 update in the interview. In this context, however, he drew attention to the importance of constantly hiring new talent in the technology industry. "We definitely need a lot of smart people working on the software," he emphasized.
