Less than a month has passed and the Snapchat phenomenon comes with another novelty. Next to changed Stories and Discover sections a completely new section is coming - Memories, which allows users to save taken "snaps" directly in the application and use them later.

Saving visual content as such has been on Snapchat since the beginning, but this only applied to saving to Photos on a given device without the ability to reuse them. However, now users can save the photos or videos taken directly in the application itself and publish them at any time later.

The mentioned function can be very useful, especially in moments when the user does not have an Internet connection, but still wants to share his experiences.

The Memories section is accessed by swiping up from the screen used for taking photos or videos. Snapchat will frame the visual experiences you take earlier and post later so that when you view a Story, it's clear that those "snaps" aren't current.

Snapchat also thought about privacy. If the user does not want to share his photos or videos with others, he can save them privately only for himself and possibly show them to friends on a specific device.

The new feature of this popular social media network will be introduced to more users over the next month.
