The first photos have arrived from California, in which we can see Michael Fassbender in the role of Steve Jobs, whom he will portray in the currently shooting film about the co-founder of Apple. However, Fassbender does not resemble the famous visionary very much.
In photos that originally appeared on Twitter @motroman, but were soon deleted, we can see Michael Fassbender together with Seth Rogen. These two actors will portray the two co-founders of Apple, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
Both appeared during the filming of scenes at De Anza College in Cupertino, where the history of the California company was written, but those who expected to recognize Jobs with Wozniak in the footage will be disappointed.
Michael Fassbender only remotely resembles Steve Jobs in his clothes and partly in his hairstyle, but director Dany Boyle and his crew apparently decided not to imitate the late Jobs the way Ashton Kutcher did in the film Jobs. Seth Rogen is a little more faithful in the role of Wozniak.
It was Ashton Kutcher who now looks like the perfect Jobs double compared to Fassbender. So it will be interesting to see if the creators did not bet on a true likeness, Fassbender's acting performance will be dazzling enough to overcome this obstacle. Director Boyle has big plans for the film with screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. We can only hope it's over big ones rollers they won't have to reconsider.
Mmm, he's not a boyfriend, but he's not at all similar!
Because the file is beneficial.
True, it's just an autobiographical film... :D
It doesn't really matter how much he looks like him.
Anyway, I hope they won't try too hard to imitate him, even in character ;)
And that in the end it won't even be about Jobs or Apple... :-D
I would say that the most important thing is not how much he will be like him, but more about how he will play it. Something like a Chinese copy of the iPhone, although the appearance is practically perfect, but the rest is horror and horror :)
Rogen as Wozniak is a licked nutcase. Even better.
Well, the fact that he played in the shit until today doesn't mean that he won't surprise, but we'll see. Anyway, I couldn't imagine such a Steve Carell in Foxcatcher in a serious role, and I ended up playing it.
Danila Kozlovski should play Jobs.
