The popular communication service Facebook Messenger has now included the music streaming service Spotify in its portfolio of integrations of various third-party applications. With this step, it offers users its first ever music integration.

Messenger users on both iOS and Android can use Spotify. In the application itself, just click on the "Next" section and choose this Swedish streaming service. Clicking will take you to Spotify, where you can share songs, artists or playlists with your friends.

The link is sent in the form of a cover, and as soon as someone clicks on it in Messenger, they get back to Spotify and can immediately start listening to the selected music.

Spotify previously had a function that allowed users of this service to share music with each other, but in connection with Messenger, everything will be much easier. Especially from the point of view that users don't have to switch to Spotify at all to share something, but do it right through this communicator.

It is this connection that can bring users of both parties increased efficiency in the use of the given services. People send each other song tips in various forms, but often without a link. The integration of Spotify into Facebook Messenger will now ensure that the user can play the song immediately without having to enter anything anywhere.

The current integration not only strengthens the community of Messenger and Spotify users, but also sets the bar for other services such as Apple Music. It is a direct competitor of Spotify, and the ability to share content on Facebook very easily can be a great advantage for Swedes.
