Tomas Chlebek Měšec.cz is not only a web portal dealing with finances and many matters connected with them, but also an application for an overview of stock statuses and other information from the financial markets.
The application mapping what is happening on the stock markets is part of all iOS devices by default, it is simply called "Actions" and was created by Apple. In contrast, Měšec.cz mainly offers the Prague Stock Exchange. In addition, there is also forex, commodity market and mutual fund information.
The basic screen is very similar to "Stocks", the upper 2/3 of the display is occupied by a scrolling list of selected markets, below which a chart and other information about the currently selected item is displayed for each item. The lower part of the display includes a menu in which we can find a link to the chart detail (which can also be accessed by simply turning the device to landscape), settings and news. This will show us several links to news (taken from the website mesec.cz) with their short initial sections, after clicking we will be transferred to the browser, we have to do the same to display more than a few news (about 10). Most of them are in Czech, but many are in English. The settings only offer the selection and order of items (divided into the Czech and foreign stock market, forex, commodities and funds) that we want to track.
The application has a pleasant user interface (built on a typical iOS-like appearance), it is easy to control, but a little more information displayed for each item would not mind, and above all, the developers should work on the functionality of the application itself. A little more agility and sometimes not too much stability of the application would be useful. Also the chart mentions that the odds are delayed by 20 minutes, yet the charts reload after a few seconds even after changing the item.
Měšec.cz is a simple and (for those in the know) useful application, which does have its quirks, but they don't detract from its usability too much.
