The popular children's game, in which the principle is to find the same pictures, has now appeared in a version for iPad and iPhone, and it is even from a Czech developer. But in a slightly different form than we are used to.
The game Memoballs is not just an ordinary board game with square pictures. Instead of them in the game we find interesting-looking red balls, on the other side of which funny faces look out at us after turning. The principle of the game is to find two marbles with the same facial expression in the number you can choose (12, 24, 42). It is also possible to set the number of players. You can play, for example, just you against the iPad or against up to three friends, of course the players can be combined in various ways. If you choose as your opponent Desktop, so it is good in the item Settings choose the correct difficulty. There are three typical categories Easy, Medium, Hard. Easy is really easy, but beating the Computer in Medium takes a bit of work, and I haven't managed to do it on Hard with 24 balls. The computer then knows where what is, without the given ball turning in the previous move.
Children will probably have the most fun with Memoballs. It makes 100% more sense to me on an iPad than an iPhone. Playing against the computer gets boring after a while, but if you play against your friends on the iPad, the game takes on another fun dimension. What bothered me the most was the fact that if I turn the game off and on again, it doesn't remember the previous settings. I mean, for example, the level of difficulty and the number of balls in play. However, the positive thing is that the author promises to add more colored balls in the next updates, so in addition to the red ones, we could expect, for example, green or blue faces.
I would recommend the game especially if you need to entertain a child in the family for a while and also if you are in a group of several people who enjoy playing. I personally am the second case. My classmates and I always play something at school, so I spent a lot of time playing Memoballs. I can recommend the game with a clear conscience, especially to iPad owners. For the price of €0,79 you get a version for both Apple devices, which is definitely worth it.
