The map of the districts of the Czech Republic should be of interest to absolutely all residents of the Czech Republic from today. A few days ago, it was decided on tough measures that will affect absolutely every one of us. As of today, movement restrictions began to apply, specifically to the cadastre of the district in which you live. Simply put, if you would like to travel out of the district, you will have to have a valid reason for this, which, among other things, must be filled in a special form - you can find it in the article below this paragraph. If you would like to find out where your district ends, in which you live, or any other, then continue reading.
Map of the districts of the Czech Republic
If you would like to find out where you can move around within the district, i.e. where the borders of a specific district are, it is not a complicated matter. The easiest way to find this information is within the framework Google Maps, or in the application Mapy.cz. The good news is that whichever of these two apps you choose, the process is exactly the same, even on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other devices. So the procedure is as follows:
- First, you need to go to the Google Maps website or application on your device, or Mapy.cz.
- iPhone and iPad: on mobile devices, just download and open the app Google Maps whether mapy.cz;
- Mac: on a PC or Mac, go to the site maps.google.com whether mapy.cz.
- Once you've done that, type a word into the search box "district" and for him the name of your district, in which you live.
- For example, if you want to search border of Nový Jičín district, so enter it in the search Nový Jičín district.
- Just type it in the search field confirm search, with a key Enter, or by pressing the appropriate one buttons.
- Immediately after that, it will appear marked with a bold line on the map specific district boundaries.
- Of course you can get a map zoom in to see the border better, change it if necessary display style.
It didn't work on Mapy.cz
Exactly as Milan writes. On Google, yes, but when the border is broken, it disappears. Besides, it doesn't look like a district border, but a city cadastre file.
Mapy.cz can't do it yet
Apology and correction:
Mapy.cz can only show districts on the website, unfortunately it is not possible in the application.
On mapy.CZ, it does not work in the application for iPhone and iPad. The list also confirmed it, it's not fixed yet
google maps shows district borderlines only up to the specified zoom level. beyond this level borderlines disappear, so it is completely useless
