Today is exactly one week since Apple started selling the new iPhone X. In the first seven days of sales, the new phone reached a relatively large number of users, due to the huge interest in the thirty thousand novelty. So it was clear that it was only a matter of time before some labor pains appeared. It seems that no big "gate" affair is on the horizon yet, but a few recurring bugs have appeared. However, Apple knows about them and their fix should arrive in the next official update.

The first problem that iPhone X owners are increasingly reporting is the unresponsive display. It should stop registering touches if the phone is in an environment where the temperature is around the freezing point, or in case of large sudden changes in the ambient temperature (ie if you go from a heated apartment to the cold outside). Apple is reportedly aware of the issue and is currently working on a software fix. The official statement is that users should use their iOS devices in temperatures between zero and thirty-five degrees. It will be interesting to see how often this issue pops up in the coming weeks and if Apple actually fixes it.

The second issue affects the iPhone 8 in addition to the iPhone X. In this case, it's a GPS accuracy issue that should be frustrating for affected users. The phone is said to be unable to accurately determine the location, or the displayed location moves on its own. One user went so far as to experience this problem on three devices in one month. Apple has not yet officially commented on this problem because it is not entirely clear whether the error is in iOS 11 or in the iPhone 8/X. Thread on official forum however, it is increasing with complaints from users experiencing this issue. Have you also experienced a more serious problem with your new iPhone X?
