When Apple introduced the first chip from the Apple Silicon family called M2020 in November 1, it literally took a lot of people's breath away. This piece offers incredible performance, which playfully shoves even several times more expensive competition into your pocket. In addition, it is necessary to think that the Cupertino company has implemented this chip for the time being only in the so-called entry (cheapest) models, which in itself suggests that wonderful things await us in the future.

According to the latest news from the DigiTimes portal, Apple has ordered significantly more modern pieces from its long-time partner TSMC, which protects the production of chips for Apple devices. Chips made with the 4nm production process should be included in the upcoming Apple computers, thanks to which we can almost certainly count on an incredible increase in performance. For comparison, we can mention the aforementioned M1 chip, which is based on the 5nm production process, just like the A14 Bionic from the iPad Air and iPhone 12. Anyway, for now it is not entirely clear when we will actually see the implementation of this innovation. DigiTimes at least outlines that the production of such processors could start in the last quarter of this year.

An interesting concept of the 14″ MacBook Pro from 2019:

This year we can also look forward to the presentation of the highly anticipated, redesigned MacBook Pros, which will come in 14″ and 16″ variants and will be equipped with chips from the Apple Silicon family. These products are expected to bring a successor to the M1 model with an unspecified designation. The new chips should be based on the improved 5nm+ manufacturing process. And what actually determines the production process? It can simply be said that the smaller the value, the better efficiency, performance and stability the chip can provide.
