Magnet is an application that will be appreciated especially by those users who work on their laptop. It is a smart window manager that will make your work on Mac much easier. Magnet allows you to arrange application windows on your Mac in several ways, drag and drop them around, resize them, and interact with them either through the top menu bar or using keyboard shortcuts.
Magnet also supports the connection of external displays. In the Magnet application, you can arrange windows next to each other, in full screen mode, in thirds, quarters, or in a combination of some of the listed options. You can switch either directly on the screen with the cursor, or with the help of keyboard shortcuts, which you can freely set yourself.
After downloading Magnet, you need to allow the application specific access. In the Apple Menu at the top left corner of the screen, click System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy -> Accessibility. Click the lock icon in the lower-left corner of the settings window and enter your Mac password to enable the changes, then check Magnet in the list of applications.
If you enable the app to start automatically when you turn on your computer, it runs silently in the background. When you want to start organizing windows with individual applications, just launch the application and determine its location on the display either in the menu bar at the top of the screen, or place it using a keyboard shortcut. You can also work with windows by simply moving them - for example, by moving them to the top of the screen, you can start full screen mode. You can change the size of individual windows as you like.
