Every day, in this column, we will bring you a more detailed look at a selected application that has just caught our attention. Here you will find applications for productivity, creativity, utilities, but also games. It won't always be the hottest news, our goal is primarily to highlight apps that we think are worth paying attention to. Today we're going to take a look at Irvue, an application for managing and setting wallpapers on your Mac's desktop.

Irvue is one of the small, inconspicuous but useful applications whose icon, after installation, resides in the menu bar at the top of your Mac screen, from where you can control it easily, quickly and conveniently. The source of the wallpapers offered by Iruve is the Unsplash platform, where amateur and professional photographers from all over the world post their photos for free. Each of the wallpapers that Irvue offers you for your Mac desktop is in high resolution.

You can refresh wallpapers automatically after 30 minutes, one hour, three hours, 12 hours, one day, one week, or manually. You can either leave the selection of wallpapers to the application itself, or choose a channel or theme in the settings. Unfortunately, unlike the Unsplash app we introduced you to earlier, Irvue doesn't offer photo previews when you click the icon in the menu bar. The disadvantage is also the number of slots - i.e. selected topics or channels - only three. An unlimited number of slots will cost you 99 crowns once.
