On the Jablíčkára website, from time to time we will introduce you to an application that, for whatever reason, has caught our attention in some way. For today, the choice fell on an application called GG Radio: SID + Media Player, which, in addition to an interesting retro appearance, boasts a handful of remarkable functions, including, for example, the ability to play sounds from the Commodore 64.

There are quite a few ways you can listen to different radio stations on your Mac, or even play music from your Mac through them. These methods also include, for example, the use of relevant applications. One of them is an application called GG Radio: SID + Media Player, which will especially please retro lovers. Some elements look like the good old Winamp. In terms of features, GG Radio: SID + Media Player offers the ability to play dozens of radio stations, as well as music from your Mac's hard drive or external storage. The nice and interesting icing on the cake is the ability to play individual sounds from the Commodore 64.

In the application, you can of course change the volume and playback speed, the appearance of some elements, create playlists and search for individual radio stations. The application also includes a community page where you can chat with individual users under the main parts of the player - you can also disable this option completely in the application. You can also set a simple alarm clock in the GG Radio: SID + Media Player application. We tested the application for the purposes of the article and we must state that it fulfills what it promises very well. Everything works as it should, the app does not crash and playback works without problems. Its price is only nine crowns, yet we did not find any breathtaking function that would make this application an indispensable part of your Mac's equipment.

You can download the GG Radio: SID + Media Player application for 9 crowns here.
