It almost seemed that Apple will manage to keep the vast majority of news that will be released today a secret WWDC conference we'll see. Finally, there was at least one "leak" over the weekend, which is all the more interesting. Several screenshots appeared on Twitter over the weekend, which allegedly show the environment of the macOS 10.14 operating system, specifically the Xcode 10 application and other elements of the user interface. It wouldn't be so interesting if everything wasn't done in shades of black!

He posted the pictures on Twitter Steve Troughton-Smith, who should be (at least based on the information he gives about himself on Twitter) a developer and a 'hacker'. Over the weekend, he uploaded several screenshots and videos to his account (but they have since been deleted) showing a macOS environment that is quite obviously set to Dark Mode. According to the author of the screenshots, this is indeed the case, and Dark Mode will be one of the bigger innovations that Apple will introduce in connection with macOS 10.14. The more than two-year wait is over. The most interesting thing about the whole leak is that it comes directly from Apple. Someone obviously didn't watch what they were sending out, and the developers got a short video spot showing the new version of the Xcode program.

The option to switch the user interface to dark mode should be available via a switch in the settings. The images show both the Xcode 10 program and the regular user interface in the system. In the video, which has already been removed, another new feature was seen, which is the support for video presentations of applications in the Mac App Store. The Mac App Store will receive a complete facelift and will acquire the form and functionality of the App Store that we are used to from iOS.

The Apple News icon can also be seen in the images. This application should also beat its premiere. Given that this service is only supported in a few selected countries, we may not be particularly interested in this news. Last but not least, the images also show a wallpaper that could indicate what the new version of macOS will be called. Foreign websites (and discussions) are speculating about macOS 10.14 Mojave. We'll see how it turns out tonight. Will Dark Mode also get iOS? The stream starts at 19:00 our time.
