Petr Škuta Apple has sent technical documentation to its employees, which concerns the problems of the new MacBook Air from 2018. According to the description, these are errors related mainly to the power supply.
Official staff information also mentions that only a very small number of new MacBook Airs suffer from these issues. Behind the trouble lies a defect on the motherboard, which can only be repaired by a complete replacement. However, Apple intends to replace faulty motherboards for free.

Affected computers can be repaired free of charge for four years from the date of purchase. Users experiencing the above issues can take their computer to an Apple Store and have it checked. In our conditions, you will most likely use an authorized service center such as Český Servis. It has branches in major cities. The repair is free, but the duration of the service intervention is not mentioned anywhere.
