Speculations have been circulating on the Internet for some time now that Apple will add a new model to its MacBook Pro product line this year. Ming-Chi Kuo's analyzes also suggest this. In response to these speculations, Viktor Kadar has drawn up a concept of the supposed MacBooks, and this one is really worth it in its design with an edge-to-edge monitor.

The concept, which showcases the 13-inch and 15-inch versions of the MacBook Pro, stands out above all with an almost frameless OLED display with rounded corners in the style of the iPhone X and iPad Pro. Also worth noting is the support for the Face ID function, which, after all, would make perfect sense for a MacBook. In Kadar's design, all relevant sensors are hidden behind the display, so there is not a single disturbing element on the monitor. The butterfly mechanism keyboard that Apple introduced in the newer MacBook Pros is replaced in the concept by a new "memory" design.

It looks similar to the Smart Keyboard for the iPad Pro, but the keys are separated and promise better stability and accuracy than the existing MacBook Pro keyboards, which faced considerable problems shortly after the laptops were launched.

Kadar's concept is a great example of how well a bezel-less design combined with Face ID would work for MacBook Pros. This week, renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo let it be known that Apple could release a sixteen-inch MacBook Pro with a completely new design this year. This could indeed mean a significant reduction of the frames around the monitor, which would increase the diagonal of the display as such, but the dimensions of the computer could remain more or less preserved.
