Apple today came up with notification about enhanced features for app bundles in your App Store. These now come with Mac support for the first time, even for free subscription-based apps. Developers of applications for Apple computers finally have the opportunity to create packages of up to ten applications, allowing users to purchase multiple macOS applications at a discounted price.

App bundles are not uncommon in the iOS version of the App Store. In this way, users advantageously buy not only games, but also applications for fitness or productivity. Thanks to the packages, several applications from one developer will come out cheaper. Mac app developers haven't had this option until now. Developers will now be able to add applications that are not paid for at the time of purchase, but which work on the principle of a regular, automatically renewed subscription, to packages in both the iOS and Mac App Stores.

If the user orders a subscription to one of the titles in the package, he will automatically gain access to the other applications without any additional payment. Mac app developers have been calling for the ability to create packages for a long time. The new app bundle options are part of the news following the launch of the redesigned Mac App Store in macOS Mojave.
