I just don't understand the US versus China situation in contrast to what China is ordering the US or Apple to do. He must therefore have servers in China owned by a Chinese company, on which all the data of Chinese iCloud users are stored, and he must not leave there. TikTok is a huge service, so would it be such a problem for it to store data about US residents within the US and not have access to it, as Apple allegedly doesn't have in China?

But one thing is for sure, TikTok is not the hit it was a year or two ago, now it has matured elsewhere and it's not just that if the young generation wants to be "in" they simply have to be on TikTok, ideally with an iPhone in hands of course.

This not only develops skills that can be useful to children in their future life, but it can also lead them to decide to choose one of these roles as their profession. And wouldn't it be a shame to deny this to young Americans?
