If iOS has one constant that has remained virtually unchanged in the system, it's the software QWERTY keyboard. While in 2007, when the iPhone was introduced to the world, it was by far the best software keyboard ever and other software manufacturers tried to imitate it, today the situation is completely different. Software keyboards have seen some interesting innovations, but we've only seen them on competing platforms, the iPhone keyboard has remained the same for seven years.

Probably the most innovative software keyboards are Swype a SwiftKey, which we can see for example on Android. These, unlike the conservative iOS keyboard, use finger strokes instead of tapping, where you type whole words in one stroke, you only need to move over the keys in the correct order, the keyboard algorithm in conjunction with a comprehensive dictionary will estimate which word you wanted to write, and in case of confusion you can choose from several options in the context bar. After all, the world record for typing on a phone keyboard (58 words per minute) was achieved precisely through Swype, which is being developed by Nuance, the company behind voice recognition for Siri, by the way.

SwiftKey follows in the footsteps of Swype, but takes the concept even further with prediction. The software not only calculates individual words, but also monitors the syntax and can thus predict the next word you type and offers it in the context bar, which makes typing on the phone even faster. SwiftKey now has according to @ Evleaks also come to the App Store.

However, it will not be an alternative to the system keyboard as such, Apple does not yet allow such integration into iOS. Instead, a note application will be released where you can write using SwiftKey. It will not be the first application of its kind for the iPhone, the application has been present in the App Store for a long time Path Input, on which users can try the Swype typing method. It is not yet known when SwiftKeyNote appear in the App Store, but according to the average periodicity between leaks on @ Evleaks and the actual release of the "leaked" product shouldn't be more than a few months, maybe even weeks.
