Buying music has long been out of fashion – instead, the so-called streaming services, which make their entire extensive library available to you for a monthly fee, are clearly leading the way. Subsequently, you can play any song, album or artist according to your own taste. This is undoubtedly the most comfortable option, thanks to which there is practically no need to solve anything. Simply subscribe to the service and you're done. In order for subscribers to have the greatest possible comfort on these platforms, they will also find a number of other great functions, including, for example, the automatic generation of playlists with recommended music. This is where songs are added based on what the subscriber likes to listen to the most.

In this segment, the most important player is the Swedish giant Spotify, which, among other things, is behind the most used platform of the same name. Thanks to sophisticated algorithms, the service actually recommends music that a given person will most likely like - or you can delete unpopular songs and thus make it clear to the service that you are simply not interested in such a thing.

Apple Music is faltering

The Apple Music service boasts exactly the same function. This is a direct competition for the aforementioned Spotify, with the main focus on Apple users and the entire Apple ecosystem. As we have already mentioned, this platform also recommends songs and playlists that users might like, but they are simply not of the same quality as the competition. In general, Apple is often criticized by its subscribers for this. Although in the end it is not such a major obstacle, it is unfortunately a shame that a company like Apple does not achieve the same quality as its competitors in this segment.

Automatically generated playlists in Apple Music

Music recommendation is one of the main pillars on which Spotify is even built. Every ordinary listener from time to time finds himself in a situation where he simply does not know what kind of music he would like to play. In the case of Spotify, just choose one of the pre-prepared playlists and you're practically done. Honestly, I feel the same way about this lack. I am a subscriber to the Apple Music service and I have to confirm from my own experience that I am simply not completely satisfied with the automatically generated playlists, maybe literally at least. On the contrary, when I was still using the competition, I had the daily certainty of good content. Do you feel the same way about this lack, or do you not care about automatically generated playlists?
