Apple picker Commercial message: Smart watch users are conceptually divided into two camps. One group prefers a square display, most often with the Apple Watch. The second prefers the traditional round dial, which the new ones also have Galaxy Watch Active 2 from Samsung. These represent a relatively interesting alternative to the Apple watch, and they do not lack, for example, compatibility with iOS, water resistance, GPS or the ability to measure sleep and ECG.
Similar to the Apple Watch, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is also available in two sizes – 44mm and 40mm. They have an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1,4, a resolution of 1,2 inches and a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. Both versions are equipped with an Exynos 9110 processor, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of storage.
While the larger model has a 340mAh battery, the 40mm version is powered by a 247mAh battery. In both cases, however, the watch is able to monitor your activity for approximately 45 hours. They are also characterized by IP68 class resistance and MIL-STD-810G military certification. The digital, touch-controlled bezel is also interesting.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 can monitor over 39 types of physical activity, of which selected types (running, cycling, walking, swimming and others) can be monitored automatically by the watch. Runners will certainly appreciate the Running Coach function with the option of setting multiple types of running.
In addition to fitness tools, Active 2 also offers useful health features. These include, for example, the ability to track stress levels, improved sleep monitoring and even an EKG. But the latter function will be available later in the update.
Dual wireless charger free with pre-order
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 won't hit retailers until September 20. Pre-orders are currently underway, with Samsung giving away a free dual wireless charger with the watch as a gift. So you just have to do it by 19/9 pre-order and a charger worth CZK 2 is automatically included with the watch.
In the Czech market, two size versions (40 and 44 mm) and three color variants (black, silver, rose-gold) are available. The Watch Active 2 in the 44mm version costs CZK 7, while the smaller 990mm version is CZK 40 cheaper.
