We are talking about the expansion of the company's portfolio of offered products, when Mac Studio just filled a big hole not only in terms of price but also in terms of size itself. However, where else could Apple follow this trend?
To be fair, of course he could do that everywhere. He could make MacBooks cheaper and bring their diagonals even smaller, he could do the same for iPhones or iPads, and easily in both directions. But it's a slightly different situation. If we take MacBooks, we have four different variants (Air and 3x Pro). In the case of a Mac, there are also four variants (iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro). Four of us also have iPads (basic, mini, Air and Pro, although the one in two sizes). It could then be said that we also have four iPhones here (11, 12, SE and 13, of course with other size variants).

But when you click on the Apple Watch in the Apple Online Store, you will find the old Series 3, the slightly younger SE and the current 7 in the menu (the Nike edition cannot be taken as a separate model). With this choice, Apple actually covers three sizes of the diagonal display of its watch, but here we still have the same thing in pale blue, after nova and green. For a long time, there has been a call for a lightweight version that would be made of plastic, would not provide so many unimportant functions and would be, above all, cheaper. This, of course, with higher storage and a more powerful chip than the Series 3 currently has, which is quite a long way to update to a newer watchOS. After all, this is also because this model was introduced back in 2017 and Apple is still selling it unchanged.

AirPods, which are again available in four different variants (2nd and 3rd generation, AirPod Pro and Max), do not deviate from the offer. Of course, the Apple TV is somewhat behind, of which there are only two (4K and HD), and there will probably never be more. Although there is also talk of various combinations of it, for example with HomePod. That is a category by itself. HomePod is not even officially available in the country, and after Apple canceled its classic version, only the one with the moniker mini is available, which is a bit of a funny situation. If, however, Apple tries to keep a portfolio of four different variants for its core products, it manages to balance it ideally.
