Mac, iPad, iPhone, Watch, AirPods, TV and Household are individual tabs of the Online Store, which cover the company's offer in the field of computers, tablets, phones, smart watches, headphones or smart boxes or smart speakers. But is there anything more that Apple could produce to complete its ecosystem?

There are a lot of products that Apple used to make and sell and we can no longer find them in its offer. We are, of course, talking about the iPod, which no longer has its place on the market, because it was replaced by iPhones and thus the Apple Watch. But we also know from history that the company produced its AirPort routers, whose portfolio renewal would certainly be welcomed by many. But what next?

Smart home

When Apple already offers a TV and Home tab in its Online Store, many would expect that they can find more than just Apple TV and HomePod in supported countries. After all, the smart home was the topic of the past two years, when we simply did not see any smart cameras and sensors or lights from Apple. For example, Google and Amazon are very involved in this, but Apple is not following in their footsteps. Whether it will ever go is a question. Rather, it bets on its HomeKit and now Matter, in which you can connect different smart products from different manufacturers.

Printers and scanners

History already knows this too, but there is practically no reason why Apple should venture into its own printer. The company is blazing a green trail that just any press isn't, so it would go against his beliefs. But you can buy a printer in his Online Store, specifically the HP ENVY Inspire 7220e for CZK 4. So he actually offers a certain alternative.

Gaming console

Apple already has its console, and in a way several of them. The first is, of course, the iPhone (i.e. the iPad), that is, if we are talking about pocket-sized ones. The App Store offers an abundance of games of various genres (and qualities), and in addition, we have Apple Arcade, a subscription platform that opens another door to a multitude of games. You can also play in Safari from the cloud. The second case is Apple TV. It also offers an App Store, and it also has Apple Arcade. The same games that you play on your phone and on your Mac can also be played on your TV (if supported). The development of a console such as Playstation or Nintendo Switch therefore makes no sense.

Virtual reality

Probably the most anticipated product from Apple this year is a headset or other set for consuming AR/VR content. We have a lot of information and we are just waiting to see it. It may be a success, it may be a flop, but that will only show the device and its capabilities. So here, yes, there is room here, and Apple will certainly jump into this segment.

Bluetooth speaker

Here we have the HomePod, with which Apple entered the independent world of audio after the AirPods. Although it is not a portable speaker, it has added value in integration into a smart home. Personally, I would certainly appreciate it if I had a HomePod mini without smart functions working on the basis of Bluetooth connection and with an integrated battery. But we will not see this.

TV

Apple TV is a smart box that expands both dumb and smart televisions. If Apple were to develop its own screen, it seems completely unnecessary, when we have such proven brands that already implement many functions from the Apple ecosystem. So Apple's own television appears to be a complete waste, even though it was very actively talked about before.

Camera/camera

It is the increasing quality of mobile photography and video recording that is causing the decline of photographic and video technology. So there is no point in thinking about the camera at all, because it is fully replaced by the iPhone, which also caused all this. But if we were talking about action cameras, Apple could be involved to some extent here. Even so, it's unlikely, because it prefers to add special modes to its iPhones.

Dron

Competing with DJI would be a rather interesting idea. Hobby drones, however, have also probably had their heyday behind them. In addition, the use of such equipment is very limited due to the number of prohibitions. There would probably not be a clear sales potential here, and therefore this segment does not make more sense for the company.

White technique

No, we probably don't want Apple to be the second Samsung. It offers not only washing machines and dryers, but also refrigerators and vacuum cleaners (as well as, of course, the already mentioned televisions). Perhaps only a domestic robot vacuum cleaner would be interesting here, but it would probably fall into the Household section, which we already mentioned.

Apple Car

Will we ever see it? After the AR/VR headset, this is probably the longest speculated fabled product that Apple is said to be 100% working on, but no one knows anything about in the end. Maybe one day it will come up, if not, after all, we have CarPlay here, which to some extent is also an extension of the company into the automotive industry, when we also saw an interesting vision of where Apple wants to take this platform at WWDC22.
