It is not unusual for Apple to come up with some interesting news from time to time, but in the end it is only available in the United States and other countries. We would find several such moments, and most of them are services whose transfer to other markets is not so easy, as the giant faces a number of complex tasks and permissions. Let's therefore shine a light on some hardware and software pieces that Czech apple growers still can't enjoy.

Apple News +

In 2019, the Cupertino giant introduced a rather interesting service called News+, which offers its subscribers premium content for a monthly subscription. Apple users can thus browse news from prestigious magazines and newspapers in one place without having to pay individual providers – in short, they can find everything in one place, where they can also save their favorites and work with them better. In general, this is a rather interesting concept that could definitely be worth it. Of course, since Apple does not group Czech media in this way, the service is not available in our country. Personally, I would welcome it with those that are available there now. These are Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Time and many others.

Apple Fitness +

The Apple Fitness+ service is in a similar situation. She applied for the floor at the end of 2020, and her purpose already follows from the name itself – to help apple growers get in shape, or to welcome them to the world of fitness. Within this application/service, subscribers can "work out" with renowned trainers, examine all metrics from their workouts, complete various training plans, and the like. Apple Fitness+ has launched in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom with a price tag of $9,99 per month ($79,99 per year).

AppleCare +

The AppleCare+ service is quite different from the two mentioned above. This is a form of additional warranty, where Apple will provide you with repair and advice in various cases. At the same time, the service covers much more than the standard warranty given by law. You can thus pay for AppleCare+, for example, even if the display is damaged due to a fall or if the device is drowned, when your problem will be solved for a service fee - simply take the device to an authorized service center or store. However, we have to settle for the mentioned 24-month warranty.

Apple Card

In 2019, Apple also introduced its own credit card called Apple Card, which is closely linked to the Apple Pay payment method. According to Tim Cook, it is tailor-made for iPhones and can be used by all Apple users who have access to the Apple Pay Cash service - which, unfortunately, we are not. However, what sets this piece apart from standard cards are its analytical tools for checking and managing finances, and Apple customers can also enjoy cashback thanks to Daily Cash. At the same time, the card should help with saving, and in physical form it is even made of titanium. Although this product is not available here, the truth is that there would probably not be too much interest in it.

HomePod (mini)

In a way, we can also include the HomePod smart speaker and its younger sibling HomePod mini on this list. Although it is a relatively popular household companion in our region, which, in addition to playing music or podcasts, is also used to control a smart home and as a smart assistant, it is not officially available here. Apple simply doesn't sell it here, because we don't have Czech Siri here. So if a Czech apple seller wants a HomePod (mini), he has to turn to one of the resellers, which include Alza, for example. If you wanted to order this piece directly from Apple's Online Store, you unfortunately won't be able to.
