Registration is a classic routine these days. We have to do it, for example, in a clothing store in order to enjoy various discounts. We probably most often register on various web portals, where we always have to at least fill in a username, password and e-mail. And we will deal with passwords in today's tutorial.

In iOS 12, there are new functions that will help us manage passwords. For example, during the already mentioned registration, Safari can create a secure password for you, or we can simply log in with the press of a single button. But the new system can do much more with passwords - so let's take a look at some features.

View all passwords

All the passwords you've ever used are also inside your iPhone or iPad. To view them, just follow these steps:

  • Let's go to Settings
  • We will choose Passwords and accounts
  • We authorize with Touch ID / Face ID
  • Let's open the option Passwords to websites and apps

You may be wondering what the exclamation marks that may appear with some passwords mean. These are simply passwords that are used more than once and your iOS device has evaluated them as potentially dangerous. So it recommends you change them.

Automatic completion of a strong password

Your iPhone or iPad can be a great companion when creating an Internet account or filling in a password. Whenever you want to sign up, Safari gives you the option to use a strong password. You will certainly not remember such a password, but it is stored on the device. If you want to use this function, proceed as follows:

  • When registering, we switch to the box password
  • Instead of a keyboard, an interface will appear in which we click on Use a strong password
  • If you do not want to use a strong password, click on Choose my own password

In both cases, the passwords are saved in Keychain on iCloud. So you don't have to worry about not logging in on another device.
