Operating system iOS 10 apart from a wide range of novelties it also comes with a handy function that you can use, for example, when restoring an iPhone or iPad from a backup. iOS 10 now allows the user to prioritize, pause or completely cancel app downloads.
This option can prove to be effective when, for example, the user will be restoring an iCloud backup and wants to decide which applications should be downloaded first, and vice versa, which applications are currently or not needed at all. Not only with arrival new iPhones this feature could come in handy, but the important thing is that you need 3D Touch, i.e. a really new iPhone 7 or iPhone 6S at most.
After pressing harder on the icon of the selected application, a menu will appear during download, which includes the options "Prioritize download", "Pause download" and "Cancel download". After that, it is up to the user which item to choose, or how to deal with the order of applications.
but after all, this was also in the previous ios...tapping on the application paused the download and canceling the download was the same as deleting it...that's a crisis
yes, but this is different, people can't do it without a 3d touch!
as well as a lot of other goodies :)
This was definitely not a drive - you're mixing apples and oranges. Driv could only stop the download or delete the application - so you couldn't even prioritize or cancel it - it was pretty basic. ;-)
Me, I mainly knit smoothly ;)
I wanted to use it exactly when restoring from a backup on the iPhone 7.. I could click on the FB application and prioritize it a hundred times, but even if I screwed up, it wouldn't work :D
And people/machines without 3D touch?
They are out of luck, as with many other features in iOS 10.
