S with the arrival of iOS 10 issues regarding the iMessage service flashed through the discussion forums. Newly added animation effects such as sending a message in the form of invisible ink or with fireworks in the background appeared to be non-functional elements. It turned out that it is enough to turn off the restriction of movement in the settings.
In iOS 10, the new operating system for iPhones, iPads and iPod touches, Apple introduced, among other things a whole range of news for Messages, specifically iMessage, in which it is now possible to use rich graphic effects. However, they will not work if you have the so-called movement restriction turned on.
Many users restricted their movement in previous iOS due to parallax or animations when switching between applications, etc. However, for effects in iMessage, the restriction must be turned off. For that, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Restrict Motion and turn off the function.
I think that it should go well with limited movement. I consider the fact that it doesn't work as a bug, because when you hold down the arrow to send, it just flashes and nothing happens, it doesn't even send. Several messages are no longer sent to me like this, because a person simply "fires" it and turns off the phone. And that's nothing.
I think it's right like this
Yes? So if I don't want to have v animations in ios, will I lose a few features in messages? (Let's not talk about the fact that these functions are actually completely useless :D) If there was an item in the message settings: show effects when sending ON/OFF, I won't say, but it's rather strange like this. It's like if I turned off the GPS and it wouldn't show the maps. :) Besides, it worked normally in some beta, from what I saw on foreign discussions.
I understand everything, and I will answer briefly - yes, in my opinion, it is correct. If I turn off the main animation in the entire OS, I don't see (as a technician and programmer) why an inferior part of the system or application should have different settings. Of course it's just my opinion, it must be a bug
Invisible ink, fireworks in the background - finally, Apple - the news I've been eagerly waiting for... I guess that's why iOS 10 on iPhone 6 is significantly slower than iOS 9, but...
How silly, but I don't see any slowdown on the 6. Rather, I have the opposite feeling. But that could just be the team speeding up the animations. Even the smoothness/gracefulness of the animation has been perceptually increased.
Wow. So I was sad that it didn't work for me. I turned off limited, sent fireworks and turned on limited. Thank you, but I really don't need this.
But it is worth quoting:
"That must have been an awful lot of work… Such nonsense at that!"
I have an iPhone 7, iOS 10.0.2, the animations didn't work at all, after turning off the motion restriction function, I can see the received animations, but I still can't send them myself, after holding the arrow, nothing switches on, the options to select a balloon, etc. are not displayed.. anyone have a similar problem?
