How to change the quality of streaming content in the TV app on Mac

It's been a long few months since Apple introduced its new streaming service  TV+. In the beginning, this service was not very popular, mainly because of the small selection of programs. However, in this case, the apple company does not push for quantity, but for quality. Among other things, this is also proven by all kinds of nominations for various awards - and it should be noted that Apple has already won several of them.  TV+ can be watched on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV or even a smart TV. How to change the quality of streaming content in the TV app on Mac

As mentioned above, Apple primarily strives to make its titles as high-quality as possible - and by that we mean both in terms of story and appearance. Therefore, to get the best possible experience, you should watch the content on a high-definition screen. But in some cases, you may choose to watch in a lower quality, for example because you will be on mobile data. The procedure to change this preference is as follows:

• First, you need to go to the native app on your Mac TV.
• Once you are in this application, click on the tab in the top bar TV.
• This will open a new window where you can manage your TV app preferences.
• Within this window, at the top, click on the section named Playback.
• Just click here menu next to the option Streaming options.
• Then choose from the menu whether you want it high quality, or if you want save data.
• Once selected, don't forget to tap the button at the bottom right OKAY.

Alternatively, of course, you can activate the power saving mode, which is useful if you have a small data package. After activating the saving mode, Apple states in the TV application that up to 1 GB of data can be consumed per hour, in the case of higher quality, the consumption is of course higher.
