If you own "older" iPhones - 6, 6s or 7, including Plus versions, you will encounter so-called antenna lines on your device. These are the rubber lines on the back of your iPhone. It is these lines that ensure you can use WiFi and that you even have a signal. If they weren't there, you wouldn't be able to connect to any network, because the aluminum used on these iPhones simply doesn't transmit the signal. After a while of owning one of these iPhones, the antenna lines may appear damaged or scratched. In most cases, however, this is not the case, and this problem can be easily solved. How to do it?

How to clean the rubber bands on the back of the iPhone

All you need to clean the rear antenna lines is ordinary eraser for erasing pencils. In addition to the fact that the rubber can remove all dirt from the stripes, it can also get rid of small scratches. For example, I drew a line on my iPhone 6s with an alcohol marker for dirt and scratches. You can't see it much in the photo, but since I mostly wear the device without a case, there are quite a few scratches on the phone. All you have to do is take an eraser and simply erase the antenna lines - then they look like new. You can check it out in the gallery below.

I have a similar experience with a friend's newer iPhone 7 in black. The antenna lines on the iPhone 7 are not so visible anymore, but they are still there and can still be scratched. Of course, the biggest difference can be observed in the device with a bright design, but even the iPhone in matte black color peeked through thanks to the cleaning of the back stripes.
