The iPhone is an absolutely ideal device for gaming for several reasons. But the primary reason is that it offers absolutely great performance, which you can be sure will last you even after several long years. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about some competing phones with the Android operating system, which often freeze several months after purchase. On top of that, the iPhone is perfectly optimized for iOS, which in the end is even more important than performance itself. With iPhones, it is not even necessary to solve the minimum requirements, in short, you download the game and play immediately, without waiting or any problems.

How to make game mode on iPhone

Apple itself often assures us that the iPhone is a great gaming phone. They often don't forgive their competitors for showing off what an Apple phone can do in terms of gaming, in addition, the Californian giant also has its own game service  Arcade. However, gamers have been missing one thing on iPhones for a long time, namely a proper game mode. It had to be created through automation, which of course is not entirely ideal. But the good news is that in iOS 15 you can already create a game mode through Focus. Just follow these steps:

  • First, go to the native app on your iPhone Settings.
  • Once you've done that, scroll down a bit and unclick the box Concentration.
  • Subsequently, it is necessary that you tap on at the top right the + icon.
  • This will bring up the interface for the new mode, where you press the preset with the name Playing games.
  • Then set up within the wizard applications that will be able to send you notifications in active mode, together with contacts who will be able to call or write to you. However, you do not need to select any application or contact if you want 100% uninterrupted gaming.
  • At the end of the guide, you can also set whether it has turn on the game mode automatically after connecting the game controller.
  • Once you are at the end of the summary guide, just tap at the bottom All done.
  • After creating a game mode, scroll down in its preferences, where you press Add schedule or automation.
  • Then another screen will appear in which select an option at the top Application.
  • In the end, it's enough select a game after launching which the game mode should be turned on automatically. To select multiple games, you must add one by one.

So, it is possible to easily create game mode on your iPhone using the above procedure. This game mode starts automatically when you turn on the selected game, and is automatically deactivated when you exit the game. The only downside to setting up this game mode is that you have to add all the games you play one at a time. It would be nicer if the user could directly check the games that should activate the game mode. It should be mentioned that once you activate the game mode on your iPhone, it will also be activated on other Apple devices, i.e. iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
