Specifically, this gadget was added by Apple last year, and every day it simplifies operation for many users, even though it does not officially support the Czech language. Live Text can recognize all the text found in an image or photo and convert it into a form in which you can work with it, i.e. copy it, search for much more. Of course, in the latest operating systems, the Californian giant has improved Live Text even more, and in this article we will look at one of these improvements.

While in older versions of iOS and other systems it was practically only possible to copy or search recognized text within the Live Text interface, this changes in the new iOS 16. For example, there is an option to perform a simple conversion of units and currencies that the function recognized within the text. Thanks to this, it is possible to convert, for example, imperial units to metric, and also foreign currency to Czech crowns. This trick can be used in the native Photos app, let's see how:
- First, you need to go to the app on your iPhone Photos.
- Subsequently you find and click the image (or video) in which you want to convert currencies or units.
- Once you've done that, press on the bottom right Live Text icon.
- You will then find yourself in the interface of the function, where you click on the bottom left transfer button.
- This will display menu in which you can already look at the conversion.

Thus, it is possible to convert units and currencies on your iPhone with iOS 16 within the Live Text interface as described above. Thanks to this, it is not necessary to enter the values unnecessarily complicatedly into Spotlight or Google. It's important to mention that this trick can only really be used in the native Photos app, not anywhere else. If you click on the converted unit or currency in the displayed menu, it will be automatically copied, so you can then paste the data anywhere.
