This "problem" is complained about by several Apple users who are trying to find a suitable solution to prevent mistaken dialing of contacts from the history. Some suggest adding a mild response that would prevent the history screen from being immediately displayed, theoretically avoiding the entire misunderstanding. But Apple doesn't have to (yet).
Even so, there are ways to slightly bypass the whole matter. On the other hand, it is not exactly the smartest solution. The key is not to dial numbers from the history screen, which logically appears immediately after hanging up. An alternative is, for example, to use Siri, the dial pad or contacts directly. However, we must admit that this is not exactly an ideal solution.
