A drone flew over Apple's new campus again (September 2)

A regular drone flyover of Apple's new campus last week provided a glimpse into the progress of the construction, which should open to employees of the Californian company early next year. The biggest difference from the last video is probably the addition of the white awnings that are now on most of the building, giving it a spaceship look. The curved glass panels, which are the largest of their kind in the world, are still being attached to the building. Floors are being finished in the garages and work continues on moving soil. Apple Campus 2 should be completely surrounded by landscape.

Chinese analyst from KGI Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that next year Apple will introduce a dual camera only and only for the iPhone 8 Plus models. The analyst also points out that the dual camera is primarily intended for professional photographers who will appreciate all the features the most.

Kuo also predicts that the current optical stabilization of the iPhone 7 Plus will not be enough for photographers, especially in combination with the new functions of zooming in on the scene. For that reason, Apple will introduce an improved dual camera and new features next year.

In connection with next year, the word OLED display, which should be part of the iPhone 8, is being used more and more often.

The patent describes a charging base that will have a USB-C connector. How the base should look is easily visible from the patent plan. However, more detailed details are not available and we have to wait to see if the patent is really confirmed in practice.
