iTunes 12.1 brings a notification center widget for Yosemite

Apple has prepared a pleasant novelty for users who use iTunes and the Notification Center in OS X Yosemite at the same time. iTunes 12.1 brings a widget to control music playback and even purchase music.

The simple widget is similar to the music playback controls in iOS. If you add the iTunes widget to Yosemite's Notification Center, you'll see a timeline, track and artist name, and play, skip, and possibly star buttons.
