If you haven't already done so, download the latest version of iTunes that Apple released on Wednesday, which fixes the unexpected app exit issues. An SMC update for Mac Pro has also been released.

iTunes 11.1.5 is just a small update that fixes a single issue that could cause iTunes to quit unexpectedly when a device was connected. Apple also improved compatibility with iBooks for Mac in OS X Mavericks. You can download the new version of iTunes in the Mac App Store or directly on the Apple website.

New Mac Pro owners will also find another update in the Mac App Store. Apple through SMC Firmware Update 2.0 addresses the Power Nap issue. Power Nap on Mac Pro can now run without the fan on in most cases. Apple has also fixed a rare problem with not being able to detect some slow USB devices.
