In the last few weeks, information about the problem that some iPhone X owners are facing is starting to multiply on the web. As can be read on several Internet forums, be it reddit or official internet forum support from Apple, users are troubled by the impossibility of receiving an incoming call, because the phone's screen does not light up when it rings and it is impossible to handle it in any way. The problem is apparently so widespread that it has also been registered with Apple and it is said that they are currently solving it in some way.

The problem with not being able to take an incoming call first appeared in December last year. Since then, there have been mentions of him on the web. Manifestations can be different. For some users, the phone screen does not light up at all, for others it takes 6 to 8 seconds before the screen lights up and an incoming call can be answered. On the official Apple forums, they advise affected users of all possible methods that could eliminate this behavior. However, as it turned out, none of them have a long-term effect.

A complete device reset solves this problem, but only temporarily, as the unresponsive display will reappear in a few days. It is not even clear whether it is a software or hardware error. Some users have had this problem even on a brand new, exchanged phone. This error could also be related to a problem with the functioning of the proximity sensor, which in many cases also allegedly does whatever it wants and does not respond to the user's putting the phone away from their face. Apple is currently investigating reports of these issues. However, we do not know any specific solution. Have you also registered problems with the display not turning on or the proximity sensor not responding on your iPhone X?
