Especially for the iPhone, as far as I know, it's not an INTERNATIONAL warranty.
And by the way, I had no idea that there are countries in Europe where there is no 2-year warranty... although Switzerland is really a bit different.
When purchasing the 2nd year (A. Prot. Plan) they will offer; and if it's international, every foreigner asks them (80% of iPhone buyers there are foreigners). It is international.
The question is how and where to claim the warranty. OK - where would you like to take the phone to CR for service? None of the 3 Apple authorized service centers in Prague will accept it. If Britex takes him…. I don't see, but I doubt it. A pretty good deal is right in the Apple store, but it's not here. Then all that's left is mail-in.
It is divided between Apple care for MacBook and iPhone. In the end, they also write it on that website - the note clearly says "And you get GLOBAL repair coverage for your Mac — both parts and labor — through convenient service options"... there is nothing like that with the iPhone.
In any case, the standard warranty (without Apple care) is worthless (= if applied elsewhere). It would be good if someone wrote a real experience...

Yep, it's normally ordered through the appstore. We don't have it officially, so you have to go through the operators. You can buy it in England, they just don't ship anywhere but the UK, so you have to have someone who lives there or pick it up for you.
Attention! If you buy a phone in (Canada, France, Italy, Great Britain see the list of countries where the iPhone is unlocked http://jablickar.cz/srovnani-cen-iphone-4-ve-svete/) you can buy it unlocked at the Apple Store. If you buy it from a carrier, it's locked to their network.
If it costs more than the standard 16GB model (15,5t for Vodafone), I won't buy it.
I won't go to 4 either. 20k for a phone seems like too much to me, when the competition (e.g. HTC) has phones with the same parameters for half the price. Paying twice as much just for (for the time being) a slightly better display and for the fact that it has a bitten apple on the back seems like too much of a luxury...
I'll go to him again. The price of 15k for 16GB (in the UK) is great and compared to other phones it's something completely different. Mainly the processing is completely somewhere else. I compared a lot of phones and the iPhone turned out to be the best for what I need. Simple user interface, tons of apps, great display, solid battery life and good support.
I'm already looking forward to it, I don't care about the price for the quality, it's worth it, I had a 3G, then a 3GS, and I'm always 100% satisfied, so I'm moving on

As soon as the price exceeds 17500kc (16gb version), I cough up for an iP 4 and buy a samsung galaxy s for half the price.. such a lot of money for ordinary people, it's really not suitable ;).. Don't judge me, but why should he have an iP 4 here tripping again when he simply replaced the iP 3GS elsewhere? Why couldn't there be as much as what the 3GS started with? I just asked an acquaintance in Scotland. The iPhone 4 16gb is for £480 and 32gb for £575 without obligation with the operator O2. I'll wait to see what ours come up with, but I don't think they will be cheaper.

Good day, I received the email just now... as a long-term Vodafone user, I'm completely "out" of O2 :) The differences compared to existing and current customers are not much, on the order of 500,- and the payments :() ... well, horror... for 2400,- monthly 32 GB version 13795 or 13295...so I was expecting something better...mainly there is no price for a non-subsidized device anywhere, or I can't read :) anyway, I'm still waiting for Vodonoše...have a nice day
