What many apple growers have been waiting for all year is finally here. Alongside the "classic" iPhone 13 (mini), the 9th generation iPad and the 6th generation iPad mini, the apple company also introduced the top models in the form of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max a little while ago. For many of us, these are the devices we'll be transitioning to from our current "oldies." So if you're wondering what you can expect from these flagships, read on.

As with last year's model, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is also made of stainless steel. It has four new colors, namely graphite, gold, silver and sierra blue, i.e. light blue. Finally, we got a smaller cutout on the front - specifically, it's smaller by a full 20%. In addition, Apple has used Ceramic Shield, which makes the front display better protected than ever before. We must also mention the new trio of rear lenses, a larger battery and, of course, support for the popular MagSafe.

In terms of performance, we got the A15 Bionic chip, which has a total of six cores. Four of them are economical and two are powerful. Compared to top competing chips, the A15 Bionic chip is up to 50% more powerful, according to Apple of course. The display has also undergone changes - it is still Super Retina XDR. The maximum brightness under "normal circumstances" is up to 1000 nits, with HDR content an incredible 1200 nits. Compared to last year's models, the display is even brighter and better. Finally, we also got ProMotion, a technology that automatically adjusts the refresh rate according to what is happening on the display. The adaptive refresh rate range is from 10 Hz to 120 Hz. Unfortunately, 1 Hz is missing, making Always-On mode impossible.

The rear camera has also seen huge changes. There are still three lenses on the back, but according to Apple, the biggest advance ever has been made. The wide-angle camera offers a resolution of 12 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.5, while the ultra-wide-angle lens also offers a resolution of 12 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.8. As for the telephoto lens, it is 77 millimeters and offers up to 3x optical zoom. Thanks to all these improvements, you will get perfect photos in any situation, without any noise. The good news is that a night mode is coming to all lenses, which makes it possible to take even better photos in low light conditions and at night. The ultra-wide-angle lens offers macro photography and can perfectly focus, for example, raindrops, veins on leaves and more. Hardware and software are of course perfectly linked, thanks to which we get even better photographic results. When taking photos, it is now also possible to customize Smart HDR and adjust photo profiles according to what you need.

Above we focused mainly on taking photos, now let's take a look at shooting videos. The iPhone 13 Pro (Max) can shoot in Dolby Vision HDR mode and will take care of a completely professional record that can equal SLR cameras. We also got a new Cinematic mode, thanks to which it is possible to use iPhone 13 to shoot recordings that are used in the most famous films. Cinematic Mode can automatically or manually refocus from foreground to background, and then from background to foreground again. In addition, the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) can shoot in ProRes mode, specifically up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.

It also comes with an improved battery. Even though the A15 Bionic is more powerful, the iPhone 13 Pro (Max) can last even longer on a single charge. The A15 Bionic is not only more powerful, but also more economical. The iOS 15 operating system also helps with longer battery life. In particular, Apple said that in the case of the iPhone 13 Pro, users can enjoy 1,5 hours more battery life than in the case of the iPhone 12 Pro, as for the larger iPhone 13 Pro Max, here battery life is up to 2,5 hours longer than last year's iPhone 12 Pro Max. All the gold used in the new "thirteens" is recycled. Compared to the classic iPhone 13 (mini), the Pro variants will offer a 5-core GPU. Capacity starts at 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB are also available. You will be able to pre-order these models as early as September 17, and sales will start on September 24.
