We have also prepared an IT summary for you at the end of the week, in which we try to cover all kinds of news and events from the world of information technology. Today, as part of the first news, we look at how TSMC is ready to deliver A14 processors to Apple. In the second news, we will look at the battle between Intel vs. AMD processors with an unexpected winner, then we will inform you more about the protagonist from the upcoming Far Cry 6 game, and finally we will inform you about the pleasant discount that T-Mobile has prepared for its customers. So let's get straight to the point.

TSMC is ready

When the coronavirus appeared at the beginning of this year, questions suddenly started hanging over many events that we are used to every year. However, in the current situation, the coronavirus is rather on the wane and things are somehow finally returning to normal. The September presentation of the new iPhones, which according to the latest available information should take place classically, was also in jeopardy, in any case, the question is whether the iPhones will be ready in time for the first Apple enthusiasts. What is certain, however, is that the company TSMC, which supplies processors for Apple phones to Apple, will definitely not be responsible for any delay. According to available information, TSMC is ready to supply Apple with 80 million processors labeled A14 Bionic, which will appear in upcoming iPhones. Together with these processors, TSMC is ready to supply other processors for the upcoming iPad Pro, namely A14X Bionic. These processors, which will be used in the upcoming iPhones, iPad Pros and quite possibly also in MacBooks, are made with a 5nm production process and should reportedly offer up to 12 cores.

Intel crushed AMD's processor

If you follow the events regarding computer processors, then you certainly did not miss the information that in recent months AMD is simply at the top, and that Intel is starting to sink with its cob. In addition, Apple's recent statement at the WWDC20 conference does not help Intel either - the apple company will switch to its own Apple Silicon processors in a few years, and even though the contract with Intel will continue to last, it will definitely not last forever. As soon as Apple decides that it no longer needs Intel, it simply ends the cooperation. It will be up to Intel to see if it somehow manages to survive the termination of the contract. Apple is one of the few big customers of Intel, and if there is no recovery, then it will most likely be the end for Intel and a monopoly will be created in the form of AMD.

As for the processors themselves, those from AMD are better on practically all fronts compared to Intel. Intel is able to surpass processors from AMD in practically one single discipline, namely performance per core. Intel managed to do this in a battle between Intel Core i7-1165G7 Tiger Lake processors and AMD Ryzen 7 4800U Renoir. Performance tests in the Geekbench 4 program were performed on upcoming Lenovo laptops, namely the Lenovo 82DM (AMD version) and the Lenovo 82CU (Intel version). In this case, Intel scored 6737 points in performance per core, AMD then "only" 5584 points. In the case of multi-core performance, the processor won over AMD, with a score of 27538 compared to Intel's score of 23414. Only time will tell whether this is just an exception, or whether Intel is really trying to stand on its own two feet and once again seize the lead in this exciting battle.

Far Cry 6 and the main character

Despite the fact that Ubisoft, the game studio behind, for example, the Assassin's Creed game series or the Far Cry series, has not yet announced the sequel to the popular game Far Cry 6, according to available information, it should do so within a few days. There are countless different pieces of information, leaks and news about the upcoming Far Cry 6 circulating on the Internet. One of these leaks is supposed to revolve around one of the game's main characters - supposedly Gus Fring from Breaking Bad. Of course, this character should portray the so-called "negative". It should be noted that the villains in the Far Cry game series are really extravagant, so we should definitely not be surprised at anything. So we will have to wait a few more days for the official announcement that will reveal the truth. We'll see what Ubisoft comes up with - Far Cry is very popular among players, and there's nothing left but to hope that even the sixth sequel will be successful.

T-Mobile reduced the price of the daily data package

If you are a T-Mobile customer, be smart. IN the last days we informed you about the problems of the operator T-Mobile, when none of its internal systems were working. If you needed to solve something, T-Mobile was unfortunately unable to help you for several days. Yesterday afternoon, however, we were able to repair all internal systems, and T-Mobile is now working again without problems after the shutdown. In addition, T-Mobile "rewarded" us for our patience in a way - if you have ever activated a daily data package, you surely know that it cost an unchristian 99 crowns. However, this price tag has now changed and you can now purchase a daily mobile data package from T-Mobile for a (still un-Christian) 69 crowns.
