On the Jablíčkára website, we have presented several different applications in the past that are used to monitor sleep, its quality and everything related to it. One of them is SleepWatch by Bodymatter, which we will look at in more detail in today's article.

Appearance

The user interface of the SleepWatch application is tuned in a pleasant dark blue color. On the bar at the bottom of the display you will find buttons for displaying the daily overview, the latest findings, trends, interesting articles and for settings. In the upper part of the application, there are cards with individual days, and in the upper left corner you will find a button to switch to the calendar view. On the top of the main screen you will find graphs with overviews of the night that has passed, at the bottom of the main screen you can enter additional notes about your sleep (food, alcohol, stress, exercise and others).

Function

The SleepWatch application is best used in conjunction with the Apple Watch, but you can also enter the relevant data manually if necessary, or you can use an iPhone to monitor your sleep. The nice thing about this app is that it doesn't require any special activity on the part of the user apart from feedback - it offers automatic detection and sleep monitoring, so you just have to wear the Apple Watch in bed. Within the SleepWatch application, you will then receive data on the duration of sleep, its quality, the ratio of deep and light sleep, the number of possible awakenings during the night, but also on your heart activity during sleep and how effective your sleep was.

You can view all the necessary data in clear, detailed graphs, the application also asks you how rested you feel after sleeping. SleepWatch can be downloaded for free, in addition to the free basic version, it offers a premium version for 109 crowns per month, in which you get the function of waking up in the lightest phase of sleep, advanced measurement and monitoring modes, personalized notifications, advanced measurement of heart activity during sleep and other "bonuses" .
