From time to time, on the website of Jablíčkára, we present to you either an application that Apple offers on the main page of its App Store, or an application that simply caught our attention for any reason. Today we tried the ScreenKit application, which is used to modify the iPhone's desktop. What impressed us and what disappointed us?

Compared to its predecessors, the iOS 14 operating system offers much richer options in terms of editing and customizing the desktop. These options also include adding various widgets to the phone's desktop. Widgets can be found both in the menu of native iOS applications, their support is also offered by a large number of third-party applications, and there are also applications that allow you to create your own widgets, themes, and add wallpapers to the desktop and lock screen of your iPhone. Applications of this type also include ScreenKit, which enjoys a relatively positive rating from users on the App Store. In addition to adding widgets, ScreenKit also offers icon packs and wallpapers.

The content of the app looks really good as well as its user interface. Control is easy, you will quickly find your way around the application. Sometimes the back-breaking translation into Czech can have a somewhat disturbing effect, but this can be solved in the worst case by changing the language on the iPhone. Perhaps the biggest negative of the app is the payments - ScreenKit practically does not offer a free trial or a limited free version. You can view all the content here, but to download each of the packages you will pay a one-off fee of 249 crowns, which, in our opinion, is the price that most users would be willing to pay for the entire application.

You can download ScreenKit for free here.
