Everyone has different powers of concentration. For some, it is enough to turn off all notifications while working or studying, or just ignore them, for motivation, someone needs a nice application that will properly reward them for minutes of concentration.
As the name suggests, Forest allows you to plant a virtual forest made up of your focus items. The application works simply: what a task, a tree. At the beginning of your work, you plant a virtual tree and use the slider on the wheel to determine the time for which you need to concentrate. As you work, the tree grows slowly but surely, and if you happen to want to procrastinate just by looking at how your plant is doing, the app will clearly notify you of what to do. If you leave the application, you "kill" the tree - in the application settings, however, you have the option to allow exits from the application, but at the cost of lower rewards. Forest also works with the HealthKit platform and allows minutes to count towards Mindfulness time.

As you work, you can take notes, take a break, or in the worst case, give up. You can share your progress in the usual ways, i.e. by e-mail, message, or as a post on social networks. A fun and interesting bonus at Forest is the possibility of "group concentration" - just register yourself and your classmates or colleagues, and you can try to concentrate collectively in virtual rooms, or compete to see who will be better at concentration. The application not only motivates you once, for individual tasks, but also offers you the opportunity to receive awards for various predefined goals.
