Would you like to try shooting and editing photos on your iPhone in a slightly different way? With the digitization of photography and its gradual transfer to mobile devices, we have slowly adopted completely different methods of taking pictures than we were used to with analog cameras and classic image development. But thanks to the Darkr application, you have the opportunity to recall these procedures again without having to build a darkroom at home.
With the Darkr application, you can forget about the classic filters and editing tools that you are used to from other applications. If you don't have experience with analog photography, you certainly don't need to worry about Darkr - the application guides you through the entire process and provides you with plenty of all possible instructions and samples. On the other hand, if you have developed photos in the classic way in the past, you will get the hang of working in Darkr very quickly and may prefer it to other types of editing over time.

In Darkr, you can only "develop" black and white photos, but the application offers the option of toning them. Similar to a real darkroom, in Darkr you can lighten some places in your photos and darken others. For editing, you can use both photos that you took in the usual way using the native Camera app for iOS, as well as images taken with a simulated manual camera directly in the Darkr application. In the application, you can crop and rotate images, blur, tone and work with layers. You can share not only finished photos from the application, but also negatives.
In the basic version, the Darkr application is free, for the Pro version you pay a one-time fee of 99 crowns.
